Environmental Analyst – Wilmington, DE

G&E’s Environmental Practice Group is actively seeking candidates for a newly created Environmental Analyst position. This full-time position will provide support for the attorney team and their clients with respect to identifying, evaluating, and investigating environmental contamination and sources of pollution.

Candidates should:

  • be familiar with U.S. EPA and U.S. Geological Survey reports and databases
  • be familiar with state-level environmental reports and databases
  • have knowledge of other relevant governmental and academic sources of environmental data
  • be capable of analyzing technical literature and data in connection with potential and ongoing litigation.

Prerequisites include:

  • a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, and;
  • a master’s degree in an environmental field such as environmental engineering, ecology, environmental or analytical chemistry, or biology.

Litigation Paralegal – Wilmington, DE

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Litigation Paralegal. This person will be responsible for supporting our fast-paced, dynamic Complex & Mass Tort Litigation practice, based in our Wilmington, Delaware office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large volume of clients which will include:

  • Serve as main point of contact for clients in all matters relating to litigation
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing client correspondence
  • Tracking client medical information
  • Assist with drafting factual complaints, cite-check and proofread legal documents to ensure proper formatting and compliance with local, state and federal court rules
  • Prepare summons and complaints, answers to interrogatories, fact-sheets, exhibit lists, subpoenas and supporting materials for filing with the court.
  • Maintain case calendars
  • Perform legal research using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and various public-access websites

Required skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience with all phases of the litigation process
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and timelines
  • Proficiency using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Westlaw, LexisNexis and PACER
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification preferred
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Accounts Payable Analyst – Wilmington, DE

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst.

Primary duties include:

  • data entry, tracking, and research
  • ensuring prompt payment of all invoices received in accordance with established workflow procedures
  • assisting with month end duties by reconciling selected bank accounts and performing administrative duties as necessary

Qualified candidates will:

  • have at least 3 years of A/P experience in a professional services environment
  • be proficient with Excel
  • have knowledge of ERP system and AP workflows
