Andrew Hayes is a principal at Grant & Eisenhofer, where he focuses on commercial litigation. He has over 30 years of experience in a broad range of disputes, including trials and arbitrations involving antitrust, bankruptcy, corporate governance, insurance, joint ventures, libel, licensing, patents, product liability, qui tam claims, securities litigation, trademarks, venture capital, and zoning disputes.
Prior to joining G&E, Mr. Hayes was associated with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and was one of the original partners at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP before forming his own firm and serving as General Counsel to Solow Realty & Development Co., supervising both corporate and litigation matters.
Mr. Hayes earned his LL.M. from Harvard Law School and J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was Notes Editor of the Columbia Law Review, the Lawrence A. Wein Scholar for the Second Circuit, a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and received the Charles Evans Hughes fellowship. He received his B.A. from Columbia College of Columbia University, which he attended on a Regents Scholarship and a John Jay National Scholarship, and attended Oxford University as a Columbia Honors Scholar.
