Somma

I always assumed I was more of a wordsmith, but working in the securities space has revealed both a genuine interest and surprising adeptness in numbers. It is incredibly rewarding to help clients around the world recoup their losses following acts of corporate fraud.

Overview

Shannon Somma focuses her practice on international securities litigation matters.

For the past several years, Shannon has primarily been focusing on cases filed on behalf of investors from Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and Asia. Before moving to the firm’s international securities team, she worked with the firm’s Antitrust group, on document review, deposition preparation, and other matters.

Naturally attentive to detail, Shannon has carved out a unique niche in handling custodian confirmations. She works with both the client and custodian to provide accurate records of transactions and resolve any possible discrepancies in as efficient and unobtrusive a manner as possible.

Prior to joining Grant & Eisenhofer, Shannon worked on cases in pharmaceutical and environmental litigation.

Outside the Office

I have always loved photography and have been honing it for many years. I love taking portraits, particularly of families and kids.
